Leary from The University of Michigan Library's mission is to support, enhance, and collaborate in the instructional, research, and service activities of the faculty, students, and staff, and contribute to the common good by collecting, organizing, preserving, communicating, sharing, and creating the record of human knowledge. The Library has an extensive collection of print study aids available for use in the law library, as well as electronic study aids through West Study Aids. Print study aids are held in Closed Reserve, so check them out from the Circulation Desk. Members of the Michigan Law community came together March 26th to 28th for the third African American Alumni Reunion, gathering in a dynamic virtual format that included the presentation of the Law School’s Distinguished Alumni Award, live discussion sessions, the Alden J. Butch Carpenter Scholarship Gala, and other critical conversations. The MACL program is the first of its kind designed for U.S. and internationally trained lawyers who want to specialize in U.S. corporate and securities law, and gain an international comparative perspective on both.
